Not at all. Windows is very very common but not ubiquitous. Many people would rather use Apple or Linux instead of Windows. I’ve never had a Windows PC, nor do I ever want one. But there is no Apple or Linux version of this game.
Mobiles are portable.. However Windows computers are common but according to me Android phones are more common..
I have a PC that runs many things quite well, but it really sucks at running games on its highest graphics/quality. Nowadays, smartphones have insane amounts of RAM. My smartphone can run Lost Life on its highest graphics/quality without lag. Plus, I can play in bed, which is great.

For PC users is there a method to save as it keeps resetting to the beginning when closing the game. It said something about creating a sol file using action script, but I can’t seem to find ActionScript anywhere.
Open windows file explorer and pick main drive (c) then open the following folders = users / account user / appdata / roaming and copy the folder named Macromedia and save it on another drive as the sol file is in there along with other flash save files. If you loose your progress just replace the macromedia folder with the one you saved and then you are back at your progress. Maybe there is a easier way but this works and is fairly easy.
