Played that one a while back. Very good but I agree, I had to use a guide multiple times to progress. I recently played “Living with a little fox girl” and “Living with my little sister” (Both of which are on Steam) which fit the bill quite well but are of much lower quality. The only other loli game on the tier of Lost Life I’ve found is Hummingbird but that is sadly just animations without the touch mechanics.

Hmm, I’d say it’s 60/40. In my experience, Chinese accounts tend to use a lot of clickbait with redirects (I guess it’s related to how their social network works), and the paywall via PayPal/crypto screams scam. But it’s also true that the illustrations don’t look like they were done by LLM, despite looking somewhat rough. I’ve seen several other illustrations by the Lost Life artist shared on various platforms, so it could very well be that, or is that unreleased development images were somehow leaked, or miraculously, a 2.0 build is floating around
It doesn’t help that some of the games they’re promoting already have third-party translations and ports, although there are also games I’ve never seen. Also is weird that the developer isn’t notifying anyone (though that’s not surprising given his track record). Either the Chinese group gets some good, exclusive shit to generate revenue, or they just did their homework for the scam
I agree with you. Unfortunately, it could just be a scam or even a fake “Update 2.00” virus made by some random kid. As far as I know, the developer hasn’t posted anything about it not even on his blog.
Japan and some other regions also get access to a lot of more obscure or questionable content that I can’t access myself, except through certain piracy sites. LOST LIVE is one of those cases.
I really hope the developer releases his second game, because then he might finally return to LOST LIVE and finish what he started. The biggest issue is that he built up expectations by teasing future content. If he had simply released the game as it was and never hinted at anything else, most players would probably have accepted it as a complete experience. Sure, people might have criticized it for being too minimal or for lacking content, but they wouldn’t be left with the frustration of knowing that content they were shown was never actually released.
Can someone recommend a game similar to this because I think I’ve played them all?
