This is not your typical eroge that opens with a sex scene and has CGs ready for you inside of 30min. Before you go into this thing, you should know a couple of things:

• This game contains forced NTR. You cannot avoid this as it is a primary plot point. They build it up to make it hurt, and then the main antagonist will fuck your bitch.
• The art style heavily favors moe style elements. Lots of small bodies, big heads and small chests. My wife says all of the girls in this game look 12 years old, and it’s hard to argue with her.
• The game’s sexual elements open up pretty late. I went in totally blind and saw my first CGs (with a monster) around 3hrs in. First CGs with a human around 5hrs in. First player-involved scene shortly thereafter.
• Your own character is a pain in the ass. From what I’ve gathered playing, you need to first have dinner with a girl, then sleep in the same room as her and talk to her there to raise your relationship. After doing this a number of times, your relationship will develop to the point that it can become sexual.
• Your male party members are gigachad players. Unless you stop them, they’ll sneak into your female party members’ rooms, wear them down and fuck them. Then they’ll use the women they’ve seduced to recruit other members to their harem. If you don’t want your party members NTRing you, it will require constant maintenance.

With that being said, this is an awesome game, and one of the most interesting eroge I’ve played since Karryn’s Prison. Like KP, it feels considered in a way that most eroge do not. This is a fully-featured dungeon crawler RPG – if you pulled all of the H elements out of it, it would still be an excellent game. Combat is typical turn-based RPG style with the added element of a backline and frontline. Exploration is done in first person with random and non-random enemy encounters. There are some pretty gnarly dungeon puzzles in this game and a fair bit of bullshit too. It does not hold your hand and deliberately explains its own mechanics in only the vaguest of terms. Exploring the inner workings of the game is a rewarding experience. It really feels like a love letter to early PC dungeon crawlers.

The sexual mechanics are interesting as well. Your characters’ lust will rise and fall depending on what they and other characters are wearing. You can see your characters’ reactions to their party members’ clothing via their profile faces in the party menus. Certain other events (for example, monsters assaulting your female party members, and tentacle chest traps) may also raise characters’ lust. Mutual high lust between male and female characters will result in your male characters making moves, which will need to be managed if you’re trying to avoid further NTR/rape scenes.
