Don’t play this for the gameplay. It is more of a visual novel. A visual novel but better. The description speaks for itself and is exactly how you should treat the game. Sophia is here to heal you and help you relax. Play it as if it’s something therapeutic. 

The best thing Secret With Sophia has is presentation. The presentation is phenomenal! Live 2D animation + visual novel is a match made in heaven! Along with the burning fire in the background, winter theming, and the loveable maid Sophia, it just makes an amazing atmosphere! That’s the best thing, even above the illustrations! 

It’s just so warm and cozy! So intimate and personal. Only you and Sophia.

The live 2D animations are silky smooth, and adorable to bout. Definitely designed with the feeling of intimacy and closeness to Sophia in mind. Barely any still images, actually, only 1. But, you get plenty of adorable chibi illustrations in between days. 
Also it’s illegal to not smile everytime you see Sophia make a not snowman outside your window.

The plot focuses on the futures that are in store for the MC and Sophia once winter ends. With the MC having to inherit the family business and Sophia leaving the mansion to get married with someone else. Ultimately its a promise the two made when they were children that motivates Sophia and the MC to further bond. The ultimate promise of being by each other’s side forever. Especially given that the first one… was broken. If you choose right, then Sophia will stay with you forever into spring. Sparing the MC from a broken heart.

There are only a few options to choose from in game. But the limited palette is really, really, tender and juicy.
Sophia has a ton of dialogue and rarely you’d see things repeat. What she says is dependent on what you do with her and the current affection. During H scenes her dialogue changes with how close you or her get to climax. 
But of course, dialogue can only keep you entertained for so long. Boredom may set in due to a lack of other things to do. And also you have to manually click “talk” during H scenes, Sophia doesn’t talk automatically. So that might take you out of your wanking experience.

The game does have an incentive for constantly doing the same things: more panties (in which Sophia will more than willingly show you). Completion bonus of her not wearing any. 
Panties do not chain the attire Sophia has during H scenes, only whenever she lifts her skirt. So maybe there’s no real point to collecting all.

As you build Sophia’s affection, more options will unlock when you interact with her. Some being relegated for endgame. Having H with Sophia can only occur then, but you can still have her do fellatio, upskirting, and rubbing one out.

There are multiple endings. But, you don’t have to work for any bad endings! You’re just a click away from a bad ending when certain choices come up. Actually, you can get one as soon as you start a new game:
Just tell Sophia to go away like the cruel person you are >:(
The worst ending by far is getting the gentleman gauge to “Sex”, in which Sophia leaves after you get too attached to her and never returns.

Endgame occurs once intimacy reaches 100. where you can choose another bad ending or go into childhood friend or maid lover depending. No difference outside of dialogue and a different H-scene. Though there are only two, cowgirl and missionary. But you unlock both if you’re on the maid lover route.

If your intention is to have the joyride of banging a cute maid, then maybe not Sophia. This is more of a ride for your heart rather than your penis 
Should you play it multiple times? Of course. But best saved for when you’re in a bad mood. Maybe start over or play with different levels of affection just to see what Sophia has to say.
