Enemy combat timer continues even when in menus etc, which takes getting used to. You can find a patch on another website if you don’t wish to flex your starcraft apm though. Strategy tip for starting out effectively is to just spend all points into the +10 damage packages. For combat focus on using the basic 20MP attack, as the more expensive attacks are underwhelming for their cost.
