Maybe its just me, but theres alot of artefacts and visual bugs during gameplay, text jumps around, goes from white to black, and such.
And hence its untranslated, at some point one can just get stuck.
Gonna wait for translation for now. 2.5/10.
I didn’t have any problems with the game.
I always unzip with “Bandizip” this program lets you unzip without the need to change your system to Japanese Locale. If you want to try it out just install it in English or your native language and set the extraction setting “Default Code page” to “Japanese”.
After that I have Locale Emulator to run games in Japanese but I didn’t need it with this one.
Worth a try for this and/or future games.
Pixel art animations are fine and I love games that don’t really punish you with a game over screen when you get defeated and fucked. However the enemy variety seems to be low, that or I am stuck in the same “biome”.
Game is worth a try if you’re looking for something like this, otherwise wait for English patch and enjoy.
Once you get through most of the cave and get back outside you need to bring an Orc heart to the witch after seeing a blocked off red glowing gate and ask her for a way to unlock it (lowest option among the 4 i believe). You can only ask about it while holding a heart for some reason. Pretty disappointed with the enemies myself, and no gallery either.
Gallery is unlocked after getting defeated by the boss, and it’ll notify you to hold v on the save where you have a star on it.
How do you beat the final boss? Thing just one hits me every time and heals more than the damage I put out.
What are you supposed to do after getting the orc heart? i have one gate that is locked regardless of which lever i pull that is not the big ominous gate. It is on the map that has that upward air current that pushes you up.
