Personally, I moved the folder with the game to the root of the disk and launched it through the Locale Emulator, and animations started working for me and new buttons appeared after the first action.

Alright fellas, this game is pretty simple if you understand one thing
Once you get a game over, or the 5 days pass, all of your progress carries over to the next playthrough. It’s impossible to get everything on the first run

BTW, I checked the source code. This game is kinda like a RPG game. You attack different parts,which has different defence and HP. And status will keep at the next round. I guess thats why this game called “Round and Round”.
