If your game freezes after interacting in the bathroom, it’s because you moved before the animation was completely done, therefore breaking it. Just wait a bit for the animation to finish before continuing with your doings. For the missing variable crash, you just have to swallow the bullet and reload your save. It pops up when an enemy’s turn is to attack.
